Baby Headband Pattern

well i'm obsessed with making baby things lately. they are so small, cute, and quick to make. here is a pattern for a headband i recently made...enjoy!

You'll need:
Size 6 needles
DK or Worsted weight yarn
Tapestry needle

*I slipped the first stitch on every row just FYI. This is optional, so adjust pattern as necessary if you don't want to do this*
CO 10
1. slip 1, k9
2. slip 1, p9
Continue first 2 rows until you have 10 rows
11. Cable Pattern: Slip 1, K2, put 2 on cable needle and hold in front, K2, K2 from needle, K3.
12. slip 1, Purl Across
13. slip1, Knit Across
14. slip 1, Purl Across

Repeat rows 11-14 until 1 inch from desired length
Repeat first 10 rows to make it symmetrical.
CO and leave a long tail, then using a tapestry needle sew the 2 end together to form a circle. Doesn't have to be perfect because the flower will be on top.

Attach flower over seam and make sure it's sturdy! Voila!
