snowmageddon 2011

well, rumor has it that a giant snowstorm is going to hit tonight. we canceled S.A.Y. Yes! and i'm heading home early. i bought a shovel last night b/c i might have to dig my car out of it's parking spot on the street; this is the time when i really wish i had a garage! i went to the store this morning and the lines were crazy long! chicago has 1400 snow plows ready to go and all the police vehicles have chains on their tires. please pray that we stay safe and have power!

also, the last of our homeless care kits went out this morning- perfect timing!
