staff orientation

this past week we had our staff orientation to Summer in the City summer project (SITC). there are 8 staff: marc and sandy, me, heather h., nancy, missy, beth, and jeff. we had a lot of meetings and prayer time to prepare for this week. we also did a lot of outtings to do team building. we moved into the dorms on monday and the students arrive today- i'm so excited to meet them all! it is weird to be living in a dorm again, but luckily we are in an optometry school so it's all grad students. and we have AC (apparently this is not standard in chicago). please be praying for us as we spend the summer doing urban ministry all over chicago!
