This quote was in today's "My Utmost for His Highest" devotional book. I really liked it because I sometimes feel I don't know what God's purpose is for me being in Chicago. I only applied to work for Crusade out of obedience to the Great Commission and was placed in Chicago, it wasn't my first choice. Although I have loved seeing God's provision and confirmation that I'm supposed to be here, I still don't know why exactly. Why Chicago specifically? Why HLIC? Why this year?
I am praying that despite these questions I am still able to get everything out of this experience as I can. I want to make the most use of my time while I'm here. I probably won't have answers to these questions for a long time, so pray that I the Devil does not attack me with feelings of doubt, worthlessness, or uncertainty.
