Singleness is God's provision for me today

This book changed my life as far as singleness goes. I have been single for the past 10 years. Yep, you read that right. In college, marriage was a huge idol for me...I thought my life would be perfect and complete if only I met the right guy (for the record, Jesus + anything else = nothing). A few years ago I read this book and it was so convicting. Since then God has done a huge 180 in my heart as far as being single goes. I now understand that singleness is God's provision for me today. And that's all I need to know because, after all, we aren't promised tomorrow. So today God knows it's best for me to be single and who knows me better than my creator? I am not less blessed than my married friends, nor am I somehow less of a woman. But really, I have the freedom to do HUGE things for the Kingdom as a single person that I could never do as a married person. So don't waste your singleness!
