#4: My Baptism

My parents are Presbyterian so I was baptized as an infant and while I won't use this post to discuss baptism doctrine, I will say that I felt that I needed to be baptized as an adult as a way for me to declare publicly that Jesus is my Lord. At this point I had been a believer for about 4 years, so I wanted to do this as an act of obedience. My church had a BBQ and Baptisms party that summer and I felt ready to join in. So gathered with my friends and family, I was baptized!! What an awesome day!!

O praise the One who paid my debt and raised this life up from the dead!
